Black Holes and Georgia Activism

Our first guest is Portlander Farshad Barman, a former math professor who built several bike frames, has gone on long-distance cycling adventures and lectures about Black Holes and White Dwarfs.
In the second half the guest is Damon Elmore, Executive Director of the State Bar of Georgia, who from 2013- 2015 cycled to all 150 counties in Georgia to raise money and awareness for a statewide nonprofit he started, Cycling for Good, which organizes a monthly ride in Atlanta that provides personal care and other essentials for unhoused people.
